Casa Grande has a long history as a farming community, so it is only fitting that the Seeds of Hope leadership givers should belong to the Harvester Society. The Harvester Society is a way to acknowledge and appreciate donors.
“We started the Society at our annual dinner in February 2017,” said Cindy Schaider, Board President, “and we had 10 members by the end of the year.”
In honor of its 25th Anniversary, the organization is launching the 25 for 25 Campaign. This initiative is designed to build support by expanding membership in the Harvester Society. The goal of 25/25 is to have 25 members by the end of 2018.
The Harvester Society has five giving levels (Farmer, Grower, Irrigator, Planter and Tiller), each with corresponding benefits. For example, donors of $500 are given recognition through a media package including website, newsletter and social media mentions. Other levels receive benefits such as golf tournament or annual dinner tickets in addition to the media package.
Giving is cumulative throughout the year, and counting begins on Arizona Gives Day in April. For example, one of our donors gave $250 on Arizona Gives Day, then $500 throughout the year, and an extra $250 in November toward the Arizona Tax Credit. This makes this donor a Harvester Society Member, Planter level, for 2017!
Every Harvester Society member gets an exclusive lapel pin, a window cling and certificate. You can join the 25/25 campaign and Harvester Society by calling the office at 520-560-6335.
