Public Invited to Open House for Information on City’s Street Maintenance Program on February 15th, at 5:00 p.m.

The City of Casa Grande Public Works Department invites residents to an informational open house on February 15, 2018 to learn about the pavement management program used for city streets. The open house will take place from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Dorothy Powell Senior Center, located at 405 E. 6th Street.
The open house will consist of a short presentation that provides information about the steps used to prioritize street projects, how the software evaluates pavement condition, the selection of pavement treatment types, and details on how the public can provide input on the process or report issues with pavement conditions.
“One of the most common questions we hear from residents is about how and when their streets will be maintained,” said Streets Superintendent, Pedro Apodaca. “We hope the public will take advantage of this opportunity to learn how we manage this process, and share their feedback on reporting these kinds of issues.”
Residents are encouraged to attend this open house and learn more about the city’s efforts to maintain a safe, reliable, pavement system throughout the city.
