Rock Earle obtained a real estate sales license almost 50 years ago, in 1975, and has been involved in the real estate investment, development, and brokerage business since that time.
After relocating to Arizona in 1978, Rock dealt in raw land, opening a branch office Casa Grande in 1981. During approximately the same period, Rock created a unique condominium-convertible fourplex apartment design and eventually developed 37 fourplex lots, 11 fourplexes and 24 condominiums. The design was subsequently widely copied by other builders.
In the mid-1980’s, Rock applied his unique expertise in Pinal County real estate to concentrate fully on land investment, brokerage, and syndications in that area. Based on his fundamentally technical approach to the land business, Rock has tracked every land sale in Pinal County daily from the mid-1980’s to the present day on his own tracking of commercial sales and proprietary maps. As a result of this specialized knowledge, he became generally known as an expert and established a consulting business in that area.
In March 2008, Rock agreed to take over the Mahoney Group’s real estate brokerage operations; today this entity is ROX Real Estate consisting of commercial and residential brokerage and property management. Beginning in 2012, Rock began a series of mergers & acquisitions for the purposes of obtaining a position in more operating companies; which included taking over other real estate brokerages and property management companies in Pinal County and purchasing an insurance agency. The ROX companies, collectively known as ROX Group, also expanded into media and formed ROX Media and RAXX Direct Marketing, which is now the publisher of approximately ten unique magazine titles, including digital marketing, in Arizona.
In 2020, the ROX companies expanded for a couple of years into new home construction and development, remodeling, building materials and supplies sales, installation and repair, and a small porta-potty rental company. In 2021, the ROX company purchased Casa Grande Rent-A-Can, now Rent-A-Can Site Services; a leading provider of high-quality portable toilets, sanitation product rentals, dumpsters, fencing, and water and has since expanded it to serve the western Pinal County area and most of the Pima and Maricopa County regions in Arizona.
Rock is an avid traveler and has been to almost 100 countries in the world; many of which have been visited multiple times. He enjoys life with his wife, Elaine, and twin teenage sons, Chandler and Christian. He is also an avid reader and is always open to new business ideas.
